Very disappointed in the "interview" and the pathetic line of questioning. So much more could have been accomplished in this opportunity with this young woman. Your interviewers were not up to the task here and it really shows. For me, it was over at the 15 minute mark. She could have been drawn out on her thought processes much better if the interviewers were better prepared. It seemed like the interviewers thought that all they had to do was show up with a microphone and poke her with a couple of comments and then once provoked she would go on to produce remarkable commentary. Amateurish is the word that springs strongly to mind.

I totally agree with you. I also believe that vouchers will eventually be used to give the government regulatory control over private schools. The "education industrial complex" - made up, primarily, of charter schools and vocational schools - is merely a mechanism for merging corporations and the state. Similar to the military industrial complex, and the prison industrial complex. This corporate, statist, merger has been taking place for quite some time in the US. Mussolini called it "Fascism".

Vouchers are a way for the government to give our tax money to their friends that own the private schools, also bonus indoctrination and union busting.

Wow - great questions with a courageous young woman. Erica showed so much poise and guts speaking out. I want to know how her parents and teachers reacted - were they proud? Ashamed?

I will definately be passing this interview on. I'd also like to connect with the itnerviewers. Is there any way to do that?
